Considered one of the most prestigious places to live back in the 1920's, The Phoenix Country Club still holds that title. Renaissance Mediterranean architecture was the rage and so was the architect Herbert H Green. Green designed homes that were synonymous with glamour. The original homeowner of this estate was the creator of what we now know as The Arizona Republic. This is a fabulous example of a typical wealthy Phoenician adobe home with obvious servants quarters located on one side of the house. Charming original details are still visible, such as the fireplace mantel and wonderful floors in the living room that were imported from Italy. Located in central Phoenix, this historic area sits on the golf course with lush landscape in the front and backyards.

Still equipped with original poured concrete streets, this 5000 sq. ft. home has been painstakingly renovated so that the integrity of the home stayed intact while the impeccable taste of the homeowners take over. The fabrics and furnishings throughout the home are rich in colors and quality. The current homeowners recently had the pleasure of meeting the "girls" who grew up in the home and have some charming stories to share. The home can accommodate up to 150 people in the yard with cocktails in the Solarium. This fabulous glass enclosed room meets up with a covered patio and looks out to a typical "historic Phoenix" looking pool area with two outside bathrooms in the pool house. Current notable residents include Suns owner Jerry Colangelo who is building a home right next door.

This is a great wedding location, corporate event venue for tours, ladies luncheons or sit down for 100 people.
